COMMUNITY BOATHOUSE COVID-19 GUIDANCE: 2021
Guidance for Boathouse activities and safety/disinfection protocols is based on the latest information from the NYS Dept. of Health and CDC recommendations. As an outdoor activity center, the Boathouse will be able to significantly reduce the range and number of previous protocols required to maintain Covid-19 safety as Governor Cuomo has lifted the majority of restrictions at this point (see attached link).
We will continue to provide hand sanitizer and wipes for all paddlers as needed. Additionally, unvaccinated individuals should continue to follow mask and social distancing protocols.
Disinfection protocols following each paddle will no longer be required. However, we request that kayaks and paddle boards be hosed off and cleaned before putting them away for the day.
